That letter gave me goosebumps. That’s the best thing about sports, when you make an impact on young fans and are able to set a great example for them. Influence them the right way and maybe one day they’ll be able to do the same for the next generation. I really hope I’m able to attain that sort of influence. I’m not asking for the biggest spotlight, I’ll take any spotlight no matter how small it is. There’s just some feelings in sports that can’t be duplicated anywhere else. The feeling you get when you know you were successful in your skills after all the hard work you put in, is a feeling second to none. There is so much beauty in sports that goes unseen.
